Ralph Anthony D'Elia, 90, of Wellington, Florida, passed away on, Thursday, January 5, 2009. Born July 19, 1918, in Brooklyn, NY. He was formally of Lindenhurst, Long Island, before moving to South Florida. Ralph was the founder and President of The Delco Group, Ltd., an International Logistics Management firm from which he retired in 1987. Ralph served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Second LT. He was also a member of The Knights of Columbus. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Catherine, two children, Savitri Kumaran, of Kuaii, HI, Ralph F. D'Elia of Wellington, FL, a sister Palma Arrigo, of Smithtown, NY, a brother Albert D'Elia of Delray, FL and 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Palms West Funeral Home 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL, on Weds February 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on February 12 at Saint Rita Catholic Church, 13645 Paddock Dr., Wellington, FL. Burial will be following the service at South Florida National Cemetery.
