Ralph Randolph Campbell, 90, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away Wednesday, Dec 13, 2017. He was born to Cordelia Holder Campbell and Hubert Campbell as the fourth of five children on August 7, 1927 in Bathsheba, St. Joseph, Barbados. Ralph immigrated to the United States as a young man to pursue his dreams. Cultivating a home in New York City, NY, Ralph married and had four children: Allison, Curtis, Lorraine and Yasmin. His successful career path included the A & P Corporation, JFK International Airport and New York City Transit Authority, where he retired after 25 years of service. Ralph loved life and other than family which was first in his heart, he had many passions including sports, photography, volunteering and playing dominoes. An avid sports fan he followed baseball, especially the Dodgers as they were once the Brooklyn Dodgers, football - the New York Giants and Jets and golf - The PGA. He transformed his passion for photography into entrepreneurial pursuits. After retiring to Florida, Ralph became a volunteer with the West Palm Beach Sheriff Department serving in various capacities for over 11 years. And, his most important passion was spending time with friends playing dominoes. Ralph is survived by his children: Allison, Curtis, Lorraine, Yasmin; step-daughter: Marie; grandchildren: Tisha, Morgan, Mandel and Makeda; great-grandchildren: Takeem, Sanayah and Xavier; nephews: Kenvert and Ian; nieces: Vivian and Joyce, and cousins in the U.S. and his native Barbados.
