Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Pierre Richard Narcisse was a joyful spirit with an infectious smile and a heart big enough to make everyone feel like family. In the 6th grade, he faced a major life crisis that would become the beginning of a lifelong story of resilience he lost his sight for nearly a year. After surgery restored his vision, he wore thick glasses, earning the affectionate nickname "Ti Lunette," which stayed with him for life. Richard found purpose through the lens of a camera. What once seemed like a limitation became his gift. His passion for photography allowed him to capture beauty and emotion in powerful ways. He also loved jazz, playing guitar, table tennis, and working with electronics - always curious, always creating. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty. Richard is survived by his beloved children: Sébastien, Dorothy, Gaétan, and Maliyah; and four cherished grandchildren: Aïno, Sahannah, Skylar, and Salomé. He is also survived by his devoted sisters: Adeline, Nicole, Marie Claude, and Chantale. He leaves behind many adored nieces and nephews, including Pierre Alex, Farah, Kevin, Mia-Zoe, Stephanie, and Michael Andy. Extended family members include Jean Pierre Nelson, Anne Payen, Guertha Adma, Daphne Bornelus, and Myrtha Bordes. Richard's warmth and wisdom touched the lives of many, including his lifelong friends: Joachin, Stephano, Christian, Gilbert, Titi, Floryse, and Henry, as well as his respected colleagues: Yguevil, Edvard, Beatrice, and Michelet. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
