He restores my soul" Psalms 23 The López and Watson families wish to announce the sunrise, November 24, 1941 and the sunset, September 6, 2019 of Sylvia López, wife to her devoted husband, Vernon Watson, mother to Debbie López-Carr (Roosevelt), Barrington López and Christopher López (Tonya) and Step-mother to Gregory Watson (Ramona), Vanessa Segars (Ryan) and Tarsha Del Campo (Daniel). She was the daughter of the late Selvin Kelly and Ella Kelly of the town of Stonehenge in Saint James Parrish, Jamaica, West Indies. She was blessed with six grandchildren: Toni Carr (Harry), Michael Carr (Asia), O'Brein Carr, Christian Lopez, Christopher Lopez, Jr., Chundzom López, one great-grandchild, Eleanor Prasetyo and seven step-grandchildren. Sylvia is survived by sister, Joy Johnson-Green. She was predeceased by her brother Sam and sister Iota. In addition to many dear cousins, she is survived by her nephews Michael, Ricardo, Selwyn and Michael Duncan and Asento and several grandnieces, grandnephews and many family and friends of the Lopezes and Watsons. She faithfully attended Acts 2 Church where she worshiped upon moving to the West Palm Beach area after many years at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Harlem, NYC. She will be lovingly remembered for her warmth, courage and a sense of style that was unmatched.
