Philip Robert Zamfino

Of West Palm Beach, died suddenly at age 71. Born January 20th 1936 in Port Chester, NY to Frank & Mildred Zamfino, Phil served in the U.S. Army. He went on to develop his career with Sikorski Aircraft in Connecticut and eventually Pratt & Whitney in West Palm Beach. He was most recently employed with Aircraft Services of West Palm Beach. Predeceased by his former wife Barbara. Survived by his son Philip (Jennifer) of Orlando, FL; grandchildren Kaitlyn and Nicolas, brothers Frank (Martha) of New York, Richard of Fairfield, CT., sisters Catherine Summa (Patrick) of Danbury, CT., Linda Peterson (Robert) of Trumbull, CT., several nieces, nephews, and cousins, long-time companion Peggy DeMinico and several beloved canine friends. Visitation Sunday April 15th, 2007 between 1-3 PM at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach followed by memorial service at 3 PM. --
