Phelmin Gideon Nangle, beloved husband and father passed away suddenly on October 26, 2021, due to cardiac arrest. Phelmin was born in Lionel Town in the parish of Clarendon, Jamaica to Avil and Egbert Nangle in 1940 and grew up to be a notable student at Central School Moneymusk and an athlete being a member of the Jamaican National Cricket team. This guided him to opportunities in the United States. Phelmin came to the United States in 1967 on a school visa at Delante Automotive Institute and after completing his studies, began a career in mechanics with JJ Hart Ford Company and then Firestone. He moved on to Delta Airlines in 1972 and spent 22 years working his way up from an entry position to a senior supervisor in customer service which moved him and his family from New York to Florida. After 53 years of marriage, Phelmin leaves behind his loving wife Lilla Nangle, daughters- Denise Nangle and Monique Nangle- Johnson, son in law- Norbert Johnson, and grandchildren- Olivia and Lorenzo Johnson. Brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and many family and friends.
