Peter Steven Krafinski was born in El Paso, Texas at William Beaumont Army Medical Center on Fort Bliss, Texas on 3 November 1971. His father Peter was serving in The Republic of Viet Nam as the commander of an artillery unit, and learned of his birth within hours from a shortwave radio station operator referred to as The Mars Station. That Mars Station was located on the south china sea in the village of Tue Wa. Peter then moved to Fort Knox, Kentucky where his father attended a military school, then returned to Fort Bliss. After a few years, the family was stationed at Fort Mead, Maryland, then the Washington, DC area, then moved back to Fort Bliss and a return to Washington, DC. Then his father was assigned to New Jersey for a 2 year stay at Fort Dix, then back to Washington DC, a stay in Boston, MA, and Fort Sheridan, IL, outside of Chicago. Peter went to school in several states and graduated from high school in Massachusetts. After High School, Peter travelled back to Texas to attend Texas Tech in Lubbock. He studied Engineering and started working as a waiter in a plush steak house. He really enjoyed working at that restaurant and while a student became one of the managers. He again loved the work better than school, and at the end of his junior year became the restaurant's general manager. Now I'd like to read to you from a copy of his resume……… Peter enjoyed work, and some might say he was a solid type A personality whose focus was to develop, train, and nurture the folks that were assigned to each and every restaurant that he worked at. He fell in love with the southern Florida area settled in a home in Lake Worth with his fiancé Gianna and loved to have his young son spend time with him. He leaves behind his father and mother, his sister Kim, son Peter Stephen, other family here in Florida and Indiana, and you… all of his friends.
