Peter Paul Sauickie

1936 - 2020 Peter P. Sauickie Jr., Royal Palm Beach, FL passed away peacefully Sunday, May 31, 2020, after a courageous battle with health issues. He was surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home when he gained his wings. Born January 1, 1936, in Monmouth, NJ. To know Pete aka "Polish Prince" as people he worked with for over 50 yrs with Florida Power & Light was to love him. He always had a smile for everyone he met, even if he wasn't feeling his best. Always putting others before himself. He was a strong man, with a kindness soul; a devoted, dedicated, and loving husband, father, and friend. He loved fishing, hunting, and all things outdoors. His loving wife of 63 years, Laverne Sauickie passed in November 2016. He is survived by his oldest son Kevin P. Sauickie, of Royal Palm Beach, FL and his daughter Petra P. Sauickie and Also survivng sister Ann Swift with husband Buddy Swift and other family members and friends, that all love him immensely. The family would like to thank the staff at Vitas Hospice, for their kindness, empathy, and for being the "miracle" his family needed during their most difficult time.
