Peter Maurice Inniss passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023, at JFK Hospital in Palm Beach County. Peter was born in Barbados, West Indies on September 30, 1960. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Shortly after immigrating to Brooklyn, NY at age 17, he attended Stonybrook University, earned a degree in mathematics, and secured employment in New York City in the banking industry, NYC Department of Finance and lastly as an IT director at Aegon. After moving to Florida in 2002, he opened an IT consulting company. Peter loved the ocean, technology, sports, road trips, his Caribbean heritage, and dancing to its music. He was an avid bike rider and soccer player, loved Apple products, always keeping abreast of the newest software, and moved to Florida "because the ocean was warmer than New York's." He was non conventional, often thinking outside of the box and ahead of the times, open to new ideas, and valued individuality over conformity. He forged connections easily and was fond of engaging in conversations. Thus, making him a friend to many. Peter met his wife, Helen, in 1988 and they were married in 1991. Through the years they were blessed with three children. And of all of his affections, he cherished them the most. A stroke in 2011, caused him to close his business and cease working. In November 2022, he was hospitalized due to complications from diabetes, faced challenges to recover, encountered additional health struggles and peacefully entered the eternal realm on December 10, 2023. He is preceded in death by his mom, Maisie and dad, Oliver. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Helen, his children, Alanna Inniss Escaran, Evan Inniss, and Richard Inniss, his granddaughter Emilia, his brothers, Andrew and Wayman, and nephews, Wayman Jr. and Jason, and many family and friends
