Peggy Solomon was born in Washington DC to the late Mr. James McCloud and late Mrs. Lena McCloud on September 6th 1949.
She grew up in Washington DC and obtained her Bachelors degree in Business Management. After graduation she pursued her career with United Airlines until she retired. She wanted to stay busy, so she got her CNA license and worked in Healthcare.
Peggy found the love of her life, Dennis Solomon at a Medical Supply Facility and they were soon married. Together they accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. They enjoyed each other in their home in Royal Palm Beach until God called him home.
Peggy had a good sense of humor and a one of a kind laugh that could be heard miles away. She loved to read her Bible until she no longer could keep her eyes open. She always quoted the scriptures in encouraging someone, or herself in good times and in bad. She also quoted them in thanksgiving. One of her favorite text was Phillipians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me. She was grounded in her faith. She often would say prayer heals everything and meant it.
She enjoyed watching movies and shows with her mother and son. She also enjoyed going to the movies and events with the family. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her grandaughter, Aaliyah as she shared new ideas and things she was doing. She made the best cheese eggs which will be greatly missed.
Peggy will be joining her beloved husband and friend, Dennis Solomon; her parents, the late James McCloud Sr and Leana McCloud; Brother, James McCloud Jr; and nephew, Weldon Mason. She is survived by both her sons, Gammion McCloud and Brandon Solomon; Granddaughters, Aaliyah Solomon and Icyss McCloud; and sisters, Patricia M Nelson and Porcia Allen-Franks, along with a host of family and friends.
