Paul F. Timmerman

Paul F. Timmerman of Greenacres passed away Monday night, July 27, 2015 after being admitted to the hospital July 3rd. Paul was born September 14, 1948 in Boston, MA and lived in Stoneham, MA. Paul attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and upon graduating enlisted in the United States Air Force. Later in life Paul worked for Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company before pursuing a career as a Long Haul Truck Driver. He moved to South Florida in 1998 to be closer to family after being diagnosed with lung and brain cancer. He was in remission for the last 15 years and lived an active life volunteering at local parishes, Holy Name of Jesus and St. Luke's and always helped anyone in need. He is survived by his daughter, Kristen Campagnuolo and son-in-law John Campagnuolo, Jr. (FL) son, Eric Timmerman (MD); sisters, Joan Timmerman (NH), Claire Timmerman-Marotta and her husband (Paul's lifelong friend) William Marotta, (MA), Karen Guthro (MD); brother Gerard Timmerman (FL); granddaughters, Nicole Humphrey, Rachel Timmerman, Jaclyn and Jaycie Campagnuolo; loving Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Magdalen Timmerman (Stoneham, MA). Visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30th beginning at 11:30am, followed by a service at South Florida National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
