Paul Eric Deich

Paul Eric Deich, born December 14, 1954, passed peacefully at home after a short illness on Friday, May 22, 2015. Paul was dearly loved by his wife, Karen (nee Dute), of 20 years and his step-children, Sean Reagan and Kelley (Matthew) Hughes; siblings- William (Janice) Deich and Richard (Barbara) Deich, sister-in-law Rosanne Dute, brother-in-law Ray (Janelle) Dute, and many loyal and caring friends and family. Paul is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothie Deich (nee Mahlke), and father, William Deich, Jr. Paul worked in two-way radio for Caribbean Radio Communications (1977-90) and was a dedicated field engineer in the wireless communications industry at Bell South Mobility/Cingular Wireless/AT&T (1990-2013) before enjoying retirement. Paul always had a positive attitude and was a very kind, caring, and thoughtful husband and friend. His passions were spending time with his wife, family, and friends, and he enjoyed camping, fly fishing, snow skiing, gardening, and many other outdoor activities. A Celebration of Life will be held in his memory at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411, on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, with viewing 5-7pm and service 7-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County or a charity of your choice.
