Patrick E. Reithoffer, formally of Dallas, Pennsylvania, has been in show business all of his life. Following High School , he attended Millersville University and graduated with B.S. and B.A. degrees. He was a member of the Army Air Corp Reserve and when World War II started, he received his training and became a B-24 Bomber Pilot with the 15th Air Force stationed in Italy. After three years and 33 missions, he returned home and started his own show. He then attended the University of Florida and received a Masters Degree. His show was the first to institute a centralized ticketing system and he designed and built many kiddie rides and fun houses. He was also the first to build silent electrical generators. Mr. Reithoffer has many professional and civic affiliations including: Past President and a gold Card member of the Miami Showmen?s Club, Past President and a founding member of the Outdoor Amusement Business Association, Gold Card member of the Showmen?s League of America, Member of the International Independent Showmen?s Association, 50 year member of Masonic Lodge No. 61, 50 year member of the Caldwell Consistory, Scottish Rite, a 50 year member of Irem Temple of the Shriners and a member of Dt David?s in-the-Pines Episcopal Church in Wellington. Survived by his wife of 62 years; sons, Patrick III and Richard; daughter, Jan Stoorza; sister, Beryl Ford; grandfather of John and Megan Stoorza, Rick and Mathew Reithoffer, James and Suzanne Blake, Jason and Kristal Knox, Ryan and Patrick Reithoffer and Mercedes Reithoffer; great grandfather of Morgan Blake, Nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at St David?s in-the-Pines Episcopal Church in Wellington, FL on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 3:00P.M.
