Patrick Vincent Caristo, born on February 10, 1941, in Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026.

Patrick was the devoted husband of Annette, with whom he shared 38 years of loving marriage. He was a cherished brother to Carol Romano of Staten Island and to his late brother, Joey. He was also dearly loved by his sister-in-law, Phyllis.

He was a devoted father to Diane; Nicky and his wife Lori; Patrick Jr. and his wife Sabrina; Deborah; and Dee Dee and her husband Paul. He also cherished his extended sons, Jim and Sam.

Patrick was a proud grandfather to Faith and her future husband, Ryan; Nicholas, Christina, Michael, Mia, Sarah, Frank, Candace, Jacqueline, Nicole and Frank. He was predeceased by his beloved grandson Wesley. He also leaves behind extended granddaughters Samantha and Tabitha, as well as extended grandson Aidan.

A skilled and dedicated masonry foreman, Patrick took great pride in his work. His accomplishments spanned from low-income housing developments to high-rise hotels and banks throughout New York City. His craftsmanship contributed to notable institutions including NYU, the American Museum of Natural History, numerous schools, and churches across Brooklyn and Staten Island. Among these were the Basilica of Regina Pacis in Brooklyn, as well as schools such as IS 24 and PS 42 in Staten Island.

Patrick was deeply committed to his family and friends. He shared a special bond with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighbors, forming a close-knit community built on care and mutual support.

He also had a profound passion for his Italian heritage, especially cooking. He generously shared his love of food with family, friends, and neighbors, bringing people together through meals, laughter, and tradition.

Patrick Vincent Caristo will be remembered for his strength, craftsmanship, generosity, and the deep love he had for those around him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished.
