Patricia Anne O'Neill,70, of Royal Palm Beach, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her home. Born March 19, 1944 in Bellefonte, PA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick John O'Neill and Shirley Carner O'Neill. Patricia lived in Frederick County for over forty years. She graduated from Frederick High School Class of 1962. She moved to Florida in 2001 to be with her beloved grandchildren Kaden and Tarin. Patricia was a loving mother and homemaker, and volunteered for years at the Rock Creek School. She later had a career in restaurant management, but found her true passion working with children and teenagers as a juvenile justice worker. She worked at the Victor Cullen Academy, Sago Palm Academy and Palm Beach Juvenile Correctional Facility in many different capacities to help youth in need. Her current group of youth created a banner to honor her upon learning of her passing. Pat enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs Martini and Roxy. She enjoyed family game time, watching sports, swimming, and the beach. She was an avid I Love Lucy fan, and followed Amazing Race, the Voice and Big Brother with her family. To her family's and friends delight, she loved cooking shows where she could try new recipes and continue with her specialties like crabcakes and pasta salad. She loved to travel, most recently to Hawaii and a cruise both to celebrate her 70th birthday. Pat was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her daughter Bethany Yost Mann and husband Keith of Brunswick, MD, her daughter Alisha Knott and husband Kerry of Royal Palm Beach, FL, and grandchildren Tarin and Kaden Knott of Royal Palm Beach, and great granddaughter London Mann of Martinsburg, WV. Also surviving are sister Peggy O'Neill of Danvers, Massachusetts, and her children and their families Bridget and husband Michael Doucette, John and wife Cindy West, Eric and wife Jen West, and special niece Michelle Goulart, husband Stephen and children Bella and Chase. Also are step-grandchildren Jim and Joe Mann, many great nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Miriam Troglin. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15th from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL.
