Patricia J. Leu (Patty) passed away at home in Wellington, Florida on April15, 2007. Memorial services are at 2 PM on April 23 at St Therese deLisieux Catholic Church in Wellington, FL. Visitation is prior to the service. Patty was born to Howard and Genevieve (Sheehan) Payne June 28, 1926 in Moberly, MO where she lived until 1960 when she and her family moved to Cameron, MO. She lived in Cameron until 1980 when she and her husband moved to their home on the Lake of the Ozarks near Gravois Mills, MO. In 1990 she and her husband moved to Wellington, FL where she lived out the remaining days of her life. Patty had many friends at the different locations where she lived. She was a devote catholic who found comfort in her faith which helped sustain her as her health declined. Her strong faith was evident in the very positive attitude she was able to maintain. The way she dealt with failing health was admired and respected by all who knew her. Patty married Robert A. Leu on May 15, 1946 in Moberly. He preceded her in death in 1991. Her parents and a grandchild, Dax Leu also preceded her in death. She is survived by three children; Robert Leu of Knoxville, TN; Monica Cooper, of Kansas City, MO and Therese Mankamyer of Wellington, Fl; and eight grandchildren, Derrick Leu; Patrick Leu, Kristen Leu, Kevin Cooper, Scott Cooper, Michael Cooper, Mary Mankamyer, and Gus Mankamyer
