Pasqualina Settembre was born in Peekskill, New York on February 12th, 1959 and passed peacefully in her home alongside her two sons on January 22nd, 2025 after a heroic year and half battle with cancer. After graduating Peekskill High School and graduating from Marymount College she would marry Bill Morosco whom she was married to for 20-plus years and move to South Florida. "Lena" would go on to make Wellington her home for the next 35 years. She raised two boys, Billy and Michael, who were her pride and joy. A champion of education, she mentored and changed the lives of countless students over her 30 year career as a high school teacher in Palm Beach County and was always a beloved member of her school community. After years of hard work and dedication she completed her Master's Degree in Education at FAU, an effort that she was extremely proud of. She loved to play tennis and always had an affection for lady bugs. Lena will always be remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor, loyalty, work ethic and her love for her family. She is survived by her two sons Billy and Michael, grandson Billy, daughter in law Samantha, former husband Bill, sisters Matilda and Phyllis and brothers Sammy and Tony. A Celebration of life will be held at the Wellington Community Center on the morning of her birthday February 12th from 9am-12pm.
