Pablo Puro Diaz Hernandez

Pablo Puro Diaz Hernandez, 87, passed away peacefully last Sunday, February 7th, 2021. Pablo was born on February 2, 1934 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He was the son of the late Ramon Diaz and Amelia Maximina Diaz. He was a devoted family man who will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him. Pablo could start a conversation with anyone and make someone feel like a longtime friend when they first met. He was known for his kindness and generosity to others. He and his wife built a successful construction business in the Dominican Republic where they worked tirelessly for years. He loved spending time with his family and he enjoyed dancing, singing, farming and cattle ranching. He was happiest in the countryside surrounded by nature and the outdoors. Pablo is survived by his wife, Annie Adela Diaz, whom he married February 20, 1960. Pablo is also survived by his four daughters and their spouses: Iris and Julian Nunez, Wendy and Dr. Rolando Grillo, Annie and Matteo Togni, and Zory and James P Harter. Pablo was blessed with eleven beautiful grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by three sisters and many nephews and nieces.
