Ofelia Gallego

Our beloved mother Ofelia Gallego passed away peacefully on Thursday June 9th, 2022 at the age of 80. Our mother was born on September 16th, 1941 in Montenegro-Risaralda, Colombia. She is survived by her three children Carlos Mauricio Gallego (wife Paula Naranjo, children Maximiliano, Marco and Samuel) Victoria De Leon (husband David De Leon children Daniela and David), and Juliana Rodriguez (husband Hansel Rodriguez). Our mother will be reunited in heaven with her loving husband Jaime Gallego. Our mother was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother in-law and friend to all. She will always be remembered for the love she had for all her family and friends. Those who have ever had the privilege to cross paths with our Mother felt instantly that motherly figure. Her kindness, compassion and selfless love are some of the many traits that she will always be remembered for. Her soul was transparent and pure. Our mothers beautiful smile would light up a room and her sense of humor was contagious. We will cherish every moment we had with her. We will teach our children the same values, advice and respect she has taught us. She will truly be missed by her family and friends and her memory will forever live in our hearts. Le sobreviven sus tres hijos Carlos Mauricio Gallego (esposa Paula Naranjo, hijos Maximiliano, Marco y Samuel) Victoria De Leon (esposo David De Leon hijos Daniela y David) y Juliana Rodriguez (esposo Hansel Rodriguez). Nuestra madre se reunirá en el cielo con su amado esposo Jaime Gallego. Fue una amada esposa, madre, abuela, suegra y amiga de todos. Siempre será recordada por el amor que le tenía a toda su familia y amigos. Quienes tuvieron el privilegio de cruzarse en su camino sentian instantáneamente su figura maternal. Su amabilidad, compasión y amor desinteresado son algunos de los muchos rasgos por los que siempre será recordada. Su alma era transparente y pura. La hermosa sonrisa de nuestra madre iluminaba la habitación y su sentido del humor era contagioso. Apreciaremos cada momento que tuvimos con ella. Enseñaremos a nuestros hijos los mismos valores, consejos y respeto que nos inculco. Nuestra familia y amigos la extrañaremos y su recuerdo vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones.
