Odile M. Hamrick

Odile Hamrick, 87, of Wellington, Florida passed away April 21, 2010 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Mrs. Hamrick was born on January 16, 1923 in Wellington, Kansas to the late John Collins McKee and Odile Boile McKee. Odile Hamrick came to Palm Beach County in 1942 where she worked at Camp Murphy. She later worked as an Executive Secretary and Technical Editor at the South Florida Water Management District from which she retired after 30 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hamrick of Wellington; her sister Ruth Buckley of Marietta, Oklahoma; her son Harry J Grosser III and wife Susan of Palm Beach Gardens, and son Larry Vaughn Grosser of West Palm Beach; two grandchildren, Harry J Grosser IV and wife Karen of Palm Beach Gardens, and Christopher Grosser of North Palm Beach; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Isabella Grosser; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach. The Funeral Service will be at Palm West Funeral Home on Monday, April 26 at 1:00 PM followed by interment at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
