Obituary Newbolt Errington Wilson, 82 years of age, passed on Friday, August 26th, 2016 at Palms West Hospital. Beside his bedside upon his departure from this earthly realm was his wife of 58 years Hyacinth and his son Kevin. Newbolt who was often referred to as Newly or Crabby was born September 17th, 1933 to the late Thomas Wilson and Daisy May Wilson in the town of Alston, in the parish of Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies. He was one of eight children, five preceded him in death. Newly received his Secondary school education at Calabar High School, Kingston Jamaica. He married his high school sweetheart, Hyacinth Maud Edwards (Dolly) in Sept 1958 and one child, Kevin D. Wilson was born from this union. Upon his migration to the United States of America in August 1962, he worked for American Union Transport before joining the Xerox Corporation from which he retired after thirty-one years of service. After his retirement, he and Hyacinth moved to Wellington, Florida in March 2000. Upon arriving in Florida, he joined and officially became a member of St. David's of the Pines Episcopal Church, where he was a very active member until his health began to decline. Not being a man to simply remain by the sidelines, once he had officially moved to Florida, he joined Caribbean-American For Community Involvement in which he joyfully and enthusiastically organized and spearheaded numerous activities for the community. He also immersed himself in the political landscape by actively campaigning and volunteering for political constituents he strongly endorsed. Left to cherish his loving memory is his wife Hyacinth, his son Kevin (Nanette); brother in law Winston Edwards; brother Melville (Veronica), sister Joyce Rainford (Roy) and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends from Jamaica, Canada and the United States. We, the family of the late Newbolt E Wilson express our sincere thanks to each and every one who you for the prayers, visits, calls, flowers and other acts of kindness which has been given to us during this difficult hour.
