Nellie Eleanor Stidham

Nell E. Stidham, 90 of Wellington, FL, died Tuesday, December 19. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and the Favorite Aunt of 12 nieces and 4 nephews. Always an animal lover, she was a big supporter of the Humane Society and numerous charities. She had a very accomplished and full life, enjoyed traveling and valued spending time with her numerous wonderful friends. Working as a social worker in Detroit she moved to Miami, Florida and got her Masters Degree in Education at the University of Miami and taught elementary school in Miami Dade County later retiring to Wellington. She co-ran the Wellington Bridge Club and was a Life Gold Master in Bridge and still earning points. She was a Bridge Director in both Miami and Wellington and was also member of the Boynton Beach Bridge Club and had a select group of Poker Friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28th at 1pm with Funeral Services at 3pm at the Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL. A private interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Miami, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
