Narad Ramkelawan

Narad Ramkelawan, 69, of Boynton Beach, FL, passed away on November 25th, 2023 surrounded by many loved ones, after a long and difficult health battle. Narad Ramkelawan was born on July 6th, 1954 to Cyril and Samdai Ramkelawan in the beautiful island of Trinidad. Narad lived in Trinidad for 33 years, before moving to the United States of America, in 1987. Throughout his time in Trinidad, he worked in the transportation and delivery fields. It was also while living in Trinidad that Narad met Girlie in 1970. Narad and Girlie were both married in 1973 and were married to each other for 50 years. Narad and Girlie had a total of four children Robin, Sita, Shiva, and Sheldon, who were each born in Trinidad. Although his first-born child and son, Robin, died at 3months old, Narad remained a faithful and dedicated father to Sita, Shiva, and Sheldon for the rest of his life. Narad, Girlie, and their three children moved to the United States of America in 1987, where Narad lived out the rest of his life. During the remaining 36 years of his life in the United States, Narad continued to work in the transportation industry, primarily as a driver and chauffeur. He worked extremely hard to provide for Girlie and his three children, and, he provided the best life possible for each of them. Narad officially retired in 2012 and spent most of the following years spending time with Girlie, his many friends, and his grandchildren. Narad was predeceased by his parents, Cyril & Samdai, his sister, Radha, his brother Narine, and his son, Robin. He is survived by his wife, Girlie, his three children, Sita, Shiva, and Sheldon, his sisters, Radica and Vashtie, his brother, Sunil, and his four grandchildren, Shivana, Shiann, Shania, and his only grandson, Erik. Funeral and cremation services will be held at Palm West Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. on December 4th, from 9:00 AM-1PM. There will also be two nights of viewing on the 2nd and 3rd, from 5PM-8PM.
