Nancy Racine made her final appearance on December 17, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Howard and Ruby Wilder. She married LeRoy Anderson whom she had two children with. She graduated from Maumee high school where she was captain of the cheerleading team and elected homecoming queen in her senior year. She attended Bowling Green State University and eventually raised her children in Florida and then Michigan. After 15 years of marriage she divorced LeRoy. She later married her second husband William Heston for a few years but got divorced. She then moved to Florida where she met Claude Racine. She and Claude got married on Halloween which was her favorite holiday. Nancy always loved dressing up and enjoyed dressing others up to be part of the fun. Nancy and Claude were together for 38 years until the day she passed away. Nancy loved her family, her 2 children and her 2 grandchildren. She was very driven and creative and started multiple businesses. She had many friends and cherished the time she spent with them as well as her husband and family. One of her true passions was helping others. She took many people into her home over the years. They were welcome to stay as long as they needed to and they were treated as our family members. Nancy will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cared deeply for others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her generosity was boundless. She made people smile and laugh and was truly one of a kind. She will be greatly missed and cherished. Survivors include her husband Claude Racine, her son Bret Anderson and his wife Jennifer, her grandchildren Brandon and Kayla, her daughter Kristin Stampini and her husband Mark Stampini, her step sister Janet Lindemulder as well as various cousins, step brothers and nephews located throughout the country. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd from 9:30am to 12:30pm - Burial at Sea on the "Catch my Drift" boat - 301 Seabreeze Blvd. Ft. Lauderdale, FL. followed by a reception from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at the Ft. Lauderdale Yacht Club - 1725 SE 12th St. Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Nancy's honor to www.covenanthouse.org which opens its doors 24/7 to youth facing homelessness. Thank you.
