Nancy Pellicano Lopes

Our angel Nancy Pellicano Lopes has been called by the Lord. Daughter of Pia and the late Fred Pellicano, Nancy grew up in Riverside, CT. Nancy worked in finance since she was 16 years old, where she excelled and was promoted often. She moved to Florida in 1991 and loved being near the beach. She was a friend, mentor and supporter to all who knew her. She enriched all our lives with her presence. Nancy's greatest blessings and joy are her children Gina Ioli and Jessica Mannix, and her grand-daughter Liana, with whom she had a very special relationship and her love will be deeply missed by her devoted husband Joe. Nancy was a selfless, warmhearted, loving, and generous daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and always friend. Nancy's humorous entertaining character kept everyone laughing and in good spirits. She had a presence in any room she walked into. Her loving charitable, generous and full of life spirit will be greatly missed, but always in our hearts. In addition she leaves behind to cherish her memory her sisters Diane (Tom) Balogh, Lisa (John) Niemiec, Karen Pellicano, and her brother Steven (Karen) Pellicano. As well as several nieces and nephews whom she loved so much and treated like her own children. A memorial service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 3:00 pm.
