Monica Alexandra Maiorino

Our beloved Monica passed away 8/14/2017 . Funeral Services will be held at the Palms West Funeral Home at 110 Business Park Way Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. Visitation reception at 1:00 with memorial service beginning at 2:00. Born November 29, 1964 to Vicente Prga and Marie Molina Prga in Argentina, she grew up in Brooklyn, New York where she graduated from Madison High in 1983. She also earned her associates at the Fashion Institute in New York (FIT). Monica touched many lives as she was always involved in the community where she lived. From the PTA in New York and Florida to her HOA as board president for many years. Monica took pride in everything she did and never compromised her belief that things should be done right the first time. Her home was her haven and she was a gifted decorator who knew how to put a room together. Monica's greatest passion was her only child Alexandra Marie Bannon. She devoted her life to raising her to be the wonderful young adult she is today. She is also survived by her loving husband Steve Maiorino, mother Marie Prga, and cousin Gladys Monte. She was preceded in death by her father Vicente Prga.
