In loving memory of our beloved mother Monica Eristhe
April 24th, 1940 - October 6th, 2026
“A mother’s love knows no bounds, no limits, and no conditions. It is the purest form of love.”
Monica Eristhe, affectionately known to family and friends as “Ca,” passed away peacefully at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida, on October 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 86 years old.
Born on April 24, 1940, in the small coastal town of Vieux-Fort, Saint Lucia, Monica was the cherished daughter of the late Ulie Eristhe and Martin St. Catherine. Raised in humble beginnings, she developed a fierce work ethic, a quiet strength, and a deep, unshakeable faith in God that guided her throughout her entire life.
For many years in her hometown, Monica was a pillar of resourcefulness and dedication. As an exceptionally talented baker and seamstress, she worked tirelessly to provide a beautiful future for her children. Her fresh-baked breads, cakes, and pastries gained a legendary local reputation, selling out completely every single day. Equally skilled with needle and thread, her perfect dressmaking skills kept her daughters beautifully clothed in the latest fashions. In 2004, Monica migrated to Florida to reside with her daughter and family, bringing her gentle spirit and warmth to her new home.
Monica was a woman of deep Christian conviction, immense compassion, and a serene, gentle nature. She dedicated her life whole-heartedly to caring for her family and extended unconditional kindness to everyone she encountered. Though her family’s hearts are heavy with sorrow, they find enduring comfort in the beautiful memories she created, the love she gave so freely, and the timeless values she instilled in them.
Her legacy of love, hard work, and faith will be carried forward through the generations. Monica will never be forgotten; she will forever be loved, missed, and cherished.
She is survived and will be profoundly missed by her three children: Adelbert Eristhe, Leandra Roachford, and Anastasia Fevrier; her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members, neighbors, and friends who remember her with immense gratitude and affection.
