Moisa Ilca

It is with deep sadness and great pain that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Moisa Ilca. He went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2023. Our hearts are broken, but he will forever be remembered as a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend. Moisa was born July 25, 1950, to Moisa and Stana Ilca in Almas Romania. Moisa met his beautiful wife, Maria I. Ciucur, in Arad, Romania while attending school. They married in 1976 and celebrated the birth of their only daughter Mariana A. Ilca Chahine shortly after. Moisa was a proud grandfather (bunu) to Elissa S. Chahine, born December 6, 2016. Elissa will always cherish the time she spent with her "bunu". Moisa loved beekeeping. Most days you would find him outside maintaining the bee hives, creating new compartments/wax frames. He enjoyed traveling when he got the chance, especially taking cruises with the family. Moisa was loved by many. He had a giving heart, and you knew you could always count on him. Moisa was easygoing, and he enjoyed joking around and chatting with his loved ones. If you needed something fixed, Moisa was your guy! His passing leaves a deep hole in the hearts of many. Moisa went home to be with the Lord too soon. Moisa is preceded in death by his parents Moisa and Stana Ilca. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Maria I. Ilca, his daughter Mariana, his son-in-law Elias B. Chahine, and his beloved granddaughter Elissa S. Chahine. He is also survived by his siblings; sisters, and their husbands Ana (Nutica) Mercea, Iosana & Toma Frent, Maria & Ioan Ancateu; brothers, and their wives Teodor (Dodu) & Dorina Ilca, Ioan (Nelu) & Mirela Ilca. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and their families.
