It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Monsieur Marie Jean-Louis Aurélien, who joined his Creator on November 14, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on May 2, 1930, in Haiti, Jean-Louis lived a life of faith, purpose, and service to others. Jean-Louis was a devoted husband, a loving father, a man of deep faith, a farmer, and an entrepreneur with a profound commitment to helping others. His roots as a farmer shaped his patience, industriousness, and enduring values, which he carried into every aspect of his life. As a businessman in the Finance and Real Estate sectors, he dedicated his career to empowering others, offering guidance, resources, and hope to families striving to achieve their dreams. A devoted family man, Jean-Louis and his wife, Sophana, worked tirelessly to provide exceptional opportunities for their children. He ensured that his children received an exceptional education in the United States, and later, he and Sophana moved to the US. to be reunited as a family. His love and devotion to his family were his greatest joys, and his wisdom and strength were pillars for all who knew him. Jean-Louis is survived by his beloved wife, Sophana Aurélien, his four children: Gabrielle Aurélien, Yola Aurélien, De. Louise Aurélien Buie, and Rousseau Aurélien; his ten grandchildren: Jean Ronel Mondestin Jr., Debbie S. Mondestin, Steve V. Lemoine Jr., Todd V. Lemoine, David Jean, Emily Ruby Jean, Jonathan Jeremy Joseph, Polemsky Aurélien, Sebastien Aurélien, and Sophina Aurélien; and his cherished great-grandchild, Isaiah Solèy Petion. His family was his pride and joy, and his love, faith, and guidance will forever remain in their hearts. A service celebrating his extraordinary life will be held on November 22, 2024 at 11 AM at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 13411.
