Michele Kay Lake

Michele Kay Lake, of Loxahatchee, FL, passed away on April 12, 2012, in North Carolina at the age of 59. Born in Freeport, IL, she was the daughter of James & Donna Manning. Michele moved to Florida in 1976 from Birmingham, AL, where she had attended the University of Alabama. She worked at Florida Blood Centers for many years. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jerry L. Lake, daughter; Amy (J.J.) McCarroll, mother; Donna Mae Wilhelm, granddaughter; Jamie V. McCarroll, and grandson; John James McCarroll, Jr. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a service at 8:00 PM. Burial will take place at South Florida National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 10:45 AM.
