Michael John Sullivan

Michael Sullivan passed away on Sunday, August 7th, after a long illness surrounded by his close family members and friends. The viewing will be held at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, 110 Business Park Way, on Wednesday, August 10th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Rita's Catholic Church on Thursday, August 11th at 10:00 AM. The burial will be at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth FL, at a date to follow. Mr. Sullivan was retired from the US Air Force. He was a disabled combat veteran with the USAF special operations command. Michael is survived by his wife Delphia and his daughter Kristin and son-in-law Ricky of Fort Myers, FL, his mother Veronica Sullivan of Stuart, FL, sister Maureen and her husband Peter Rossi of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL sister Anne Sullivan and husband Vincent Duggan of Port St. Lucie, FL, a sister Margaret Coppola of Melbourne FL, and nine nieces and nephews. Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Michael was part of Worldwide Marriage Encounter for over 20 years, and had been very involved with the Knights of Columbus as an officer in Counsel 8419 Wellington Florida. He was also an officer in assembly 2709 Royal Palm Beach Florida, and he was a state officer in district 69 of Palm Beach County Fl.
