Michael Y. Khan lived a long and full life before his gentle passing on March 1st of 2026. Born in 1929, we were blessed by his presence of this great man for 96 beautiful years. He leaves behind a timeless legacy of love that lives on in his wife Janette and 5 children: Asa, Dana, Michael, Gail & Andromeda. As well as in his 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 6 surviving siblings, and countless family and friends who had the privilege of sharing in his time on this Earth. As the eldest of 8 siblings he was born filling the roles that he would encompass throughout his life, of Provider and Protector. From his youthful years hustling the race tracks of Port of Spain, to his growth into a man and father while working as an accountant in London, to the 25 years he devoted to the West Street Branch of Merrill Lynch as Assistant Vice President, one theme remained ever constant throughout his life. He was a man who boldly seized his own destiny in this world and in doing so, forged a path that afforded his loved ones a new life of burgeoning opportunity. The amount of people whose lives were touched for the better by meeting Michael are too numerous to count. From the dozens of people that he mentored in his professional career to the family and friends that he leant a helping hand and open door. From his children and grandchildren that he showered with care, guidance and affection to his wife, that he loved for over 70 years and until his last breath. He leaves behind a world that shines brighter for his presence in it and a community of people who will keep his flame alive in their hearts while missing him, forevermore.
