Michael L. Johnson

Michael "Mike" Johnson, 65, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on October 16th, from pancreatic cancer. The funeral service will be held at 4:30pm October 26th at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Palms West Funeral Home-110 Business Park Way Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. Mike was born in Flint, Michigan on May 29th, 1954. He graduated from John I Leonard High School, class of 1972. Mike was married to Debbie Richard on July 25, 1975; they were married 43 wonderful years. Mike was recently retired after working 5+ years as a security guard for Allied Burton. Before that Mike had a long career in the construction industry. He enjoyed going to listen to live rock music with friends and family. He was an active donor to the Florida Blood Bank and in his lifetime donated over 14 gallons. He was an active volunteer with the scouts. He was a loving husband, father, brother, papaw, and friend. Mike is survived by his daughter, Jamie; son, Chris and his wife Catherine; his 3 granddaughters Abby, Summer, and Audrey; his father Edward; his brothers Patrick and Jeff and numerous other family and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his wife Debbie; his mother, Bonnie and his sister Linda. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to TrustBridge, www.trustbridge.com.
