Michael Joseph Brink, 19 years old, of Wellington, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from an accidental drowning in one of Wellington's canals. Michael was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 23, 1991. Michael attended New Horizons Elementary, Binks Forest Elementary, Wellington Landings Middle School, Wellington Community High School, North Hennepin Community College and Palm Beach State College. As a youth, Michael was a member of several recreational sports teams in the area. He practiced karate, played soccer, baseball, football, basketball and enjoyed skiing and skateboarding. However, his passions were roller hockey and bowling. He had many friends who loved him. Michael is survived by his parents Joe Brink and Nancy Peña-Brink; his brothers, Marco Peña and Jim Brink; his sisters, Nicole Brink, Deanna Brink and Julie Pedalino; his niece, Angelica Brink; his grandparents Leonides and Teresa Peña; his aunts, Marilyn Peña-Bagley, Carolyn Brink, Mary Hurley, Ann Patterson, Rosemary Finley and Betty Brink; his uncles, Lee Peña, Ed Peña, and Robert Brink; sister-in-law, Heather McCrimmon Peña; his best friend Michael Joseph Adamo and many, many great uncles, aunts, and cousins who love him so much.
