Mercedes Olavarria of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on April 23, 2011 at the age of 81. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Elogio Lugo Melendez and Angelica Ortiz.
Left to cherish her memory is her son; Jose A. (Gloria) Olavarria, Jr.,daughters; Amelia do Campo and Norma Pintos, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A visitiation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Rita Catholic Church on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
