Melvin David Eddy

Eddy, Melvin David Jr., beloved Husband and Father, of Wellington Florida died in his home on January 8th, 2015. Born February 19th, 1928, Mel and his trumpet left his home in Massachusetts at the age of 16 to pursue a carrier in music. He settled in Baltimore, Maryland the 1950's and lead bands at Columbia, Tail of the Fox, and the Greenspring Inn. He is predeceased by his father Melvin David Eddy Sr., his mother Grace Pierce, his son Jeffrey, and his sisters Faith and Marjory. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 35 years, Lorraine, his daughters Liza Suder (John), Judy Eddy, Jill Whedbee (Tom), JoEllen Badik (Tom), sister Patricia Gesler, grandsons Thomas and Samuel Whedbee, daughter-in-law Barbara Eddy, granddaughter Teresa Eddy, his two dogs Beauty and Cari and grand-puppy Olivia, as well as many other family and friends.
