In loving memory of our Mom; MaryAnn "Mimi" Sanger, who passed away at home, on November 10th, after a short battle with illness. Her passing was accompanied by her nurse (Jennifer Myles), her daughter (Renee Albert), her long time partner (Edward Ellis), her cousin (Yvonne Mackin) and Yvonne's sister (Anita Toppi), who passed away in an unexpected accident, 48 years prior, on the same day, and around the same time. During passing, we played some of her favorite song's: "Frank Sinatra's"; "Send in the Clowns", and lastly, "My Way". Her daughter read a Catholic prayer for the afterlife, she had found saved in her mother's Bible, while caring for her (attached below). Mimi was a beautiful artist, who loved to dance, and was always the life of the party. She prioritized making people laugh. Whether they laughed with her or at her, had no significance. She loved to shop and spoil her three grandchildren; Jonathan Sanger and Victoria and Madison Albert. She had a special relationship with her son-in-law, John Albert, who loved to tease her, and had a banter with her that nobody else could replicate. She loved her long-time partner (Ed), whom she had found true happiness with, in her final years with us. We are eternally grateful to him, for how he loved our mother, and took care of her, so selflessly, both in sickness, and in health. She is also survived by her son, John Sanger, and her former husband, Wallace Sanger, whom we were blessed to see, become closer, after their separation. She will be laid to rest at Mother Cabrini's Shrine in Colorado, where she loved to frequently visit, along with her partner, when staying with her daughter and family in the area. If her trip up to the Shrine was accompanied by a sighting of the Buffalo, she considered it a sign from above. Although life will never be the same without her, she will forever remain in our hearts, as we reminded her, before she took her last breath. Her family looks forward to many years of driving up to the Shrine, to visit her memorial, while keeping an eye out for the Buffalo. Safely Home I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home at Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! But Jesus love illumined Every dark and fearful glade. And He came Himself to meet me In that way so hard to tread; And with Jesus arm to lean on; Could I have one doubt or dread? Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still: Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's Will. There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth- You shall rest in Jesus' land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!
