Mary Ann Williams

Mary Ann Williams (nee LoPresti), age 89, entered heaven on June 12, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 22, 1933, to Augustino and Margaret LoPresti (nee Mercurio) in Cleveland, Ohio. The love of her life, Harry P. Williams, preceded her in death in February of 1994. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lena M. Horvath. She was the loving mother of Charles A. Williams, Esq. (wife Sherilyn Williams) and Dr. Kathleen S. Rathbun-Duncan (husband Sherman Duncan). Grandchildren include Kristina Gerardi, Esq. (husband Mark), Matthew Williams, Esq. (wife Sara), Michael Williams, Heather Williams, Andrew Williams, and Nicholas Badger (wife Lisa). Great grandchildren include Sebastian, Oliver and Sullivan Gerardi, and Samantha and Hadley Williams. Mary Ann is also survived by family member Keith Rathbun, and a lot of cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Mary Ann was a proud Army wife, an Opera singer, a Business Owner, adored homemaker and caregiver, avid General Hospital fan, and member of the Town & Country Garden Club of Lake Worth and The Moose Lodge #1461. She had the biggest heart and a wonderful sense of humor – friends describe her as generous, fiercely loyal, and kind. Her Facebook posts will be greatly missed, and her daughter will attempt to continue her legacy by posting daily. She will be missed dearly. Friends may call at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 for visitation and viewing on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Mass service will take place at St. Rita Catholic Church, 13645 Paddock Drive, Wellington, FL 33414, on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. followed immediately by burial at Pinecrest Cemetery at 1724 12th Avenue South, Lake Worth, FL 33460.
