Mary Rowe

Mary Rowe, 90, of Wellington, Florida passed away September 19, 2024. Born in Walton County, Georgia, Mary was a courageous fighter who found joy in spending time with family and friends, embracing all that life had to offer, especially if dessert and chocolate was involved. A visitation for friends and family to wish her well on her next journey with Christ is planned for Monday, 9/23/2024 from 4-6 p.m. at Palms West Funeral Home with services and internment handled by Meadows Funeral Home following on Tuesday, October 1st in Monroe, Georgia. Mary was pre-deceased by her husband, Bobby Rowe, parents Edna and Foster Maughon, sisters Muriel Brown and Maggie Henderson and is survived by daughters Sherrie Rhoads and Pamela Sciré, son-in-law Steven Rhoads, a niece, great and great-great nieces, nephews, extended family and a multitude of loving friends. An active member of Wellington Seniors Club and Women of the Western Communities, Mary continued her legacy of giving to others that she began in her younger years, organizing and leading fundraisers and school activities when her girls were young. Known for her kind and generous heart, Mary was quick to smile and encourage others and loved by all who were fortunate to know her.
