Mary Ann Miller

October 25, 1958 — October 19, 2023

Mary Ann Miller lost her 4-year battle with breast cancer on October 19, 2023, one week shy of her 65th birthday. She was a resident of Palm Beach county for more than 30 years, but was born at Orange Memorial Hospital in Oralando, Florida on October 25, 1958. Mary Ann was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Family was everything to her. She was the happiest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren, and loved spending time with them, especially going camping and traveling with her daughter and family. She never missed a football or soccer game or any event related to her beautiful grandchildren. She was a kind and caring person and made everyone feel comfortable in her presence. Every living thing was special to her. She loved her animals and during her life, cared for an assortment of dogs, cats, potbellied pigs, roosters, and turkeys. She enjoyed the time spent with extended family and friends and enjoyed a good game of Rummy Cube, a cup of coffee, or glass of wine and quite possibly, an herb or two. She had a variety of careers, including medical technician, wedding photographer, and taking care of her grandchildren. But her favorite and final career was that of pet caretaker. She looked forward to visiting with her four-legged clients throughout the week. Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, Aldine Lee Beasley and Notie Rabon, and son, Jeremy Kershaw. She will be missed by her daughter, Leanne Grosso, son-in-law, John Grosso, and grandchildren, Tommy and Lily Grosso, and a wonderful group of extended family members and friends. We want to thank Trust Bridge Hospice for their support in her final hours, and the doctors she worked with over the course of her treatment. Mary Ann was a true fighter and she beat the odds set out against her when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019. She remained positive throughout her treatment and lived life to the fullest, cherishing each day. Mary Ann left us with full hearts and a lifetime of memories. Her kindness and compassion was extended to all she met. In her memory, we ask that you carry out an act of kindness to an individual or charity of your choice. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
