Mary Aileen Marriam Brown

Mary Aileen Merriam Brown 89 passed away at Port St. Lucie Nursing & Restorative Care Center on Sept.08, 2009. Mary's family relocated to South Florida from Winnipeg, Canada in 1920. She graduated from Pahokee High School and then obtained her Nursing Degree from Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fl. She retired from both Jackson Memorial and Baptist Hospital in South Miami. After retirement she married William Brown in 1980 and moved from Miami to Wellington, Fl. where she spent 20 wonderful years in the fellowship and growth of St. Peters United Methodist Church. She cherished the friendships that formed over these years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, E.Paul Davis and William F. Brown, and is survived by her son & wife Wayne & Trudi Davis, Ft. Pierce,Fl; sister Muriel Bailey,Clewiston,Fl; granddaughter & husband Arline & Gary Grove, along with their children Julie and Noah, Goose Creek, S.C., and niece & husband Margaret & Ronald Barber, Clewiston, Fl. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Sept.10, 2009 at St. Peters United Methodist Church, 12200 W. Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington, Fl. 33414. Donations are requested in lieu of flowers to St. Peters United Methodist Church.
