Mary Jane Kirkby

Mary Jane (Jean) Kirkby of West Palm Beach FL, formerly from Mattydale NY passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 100. She was born May 26, 1920 in Grandmere Quebec Canada, to parents Daniel and Rose Gaudet. She was sister to Gaston and predeceased by Harold, Leo, Robert and Rita Goldstein, Claire Allare, Francis Ostler and Esther Gaudet. Beloved wife to the late Kenneth R. Kirkby and survived by sons Stephen, Daniel, Ronald Kirkby and daughter Diane Tryon. Known to her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as "Gram", she was loving, kind and compassionate. She loved riding her adult tricycle, watching tennis and baseball on TV and playing cards, games and jigsaw puzzles with her family. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service and virtual viewing is being arranged for family and friends. Internment is planned for immediate family at Assumption Cemetery in Lyncourt NY. Details will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to The American Heart Association.
