Mary Adeline Dagraedt

Mary Adeline Dagraedt, born June 18, 1924, joined our Lord on November 8, 2013 at the age of 89 years old. She died of natural causes in her sleep with her family gathered around. Mary was born in Hoopeston, Illinois and spent much of her life in Champaign, Illinois. In January 2008, she relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida, where she lived with her husband, daughter, and son-in-law. She was one of five children born to James Dewey McBride and Emily Allison and was the beloved wife of Henry C. Dagraedt for the last 56 years. Mary will forever be remembered by her four children, Steven Earl McBride, James Gregory McBride (Karin), Nancy Susan Williams, and Sherrill Ann Nieves (Jesus), her 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and countless friends and family whom were blessed to share in Mary's life. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and youngest daughter, Stacy Renee Kington. Mary touched the lives of many people with her smile, warm heart, and affectionate personality, this is why she will always be known as "Sunshine." A memorial gathering will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 6:00 PM with a service beginning at 7:00 PM.
