Mary Kay Carmean

Mary Kay Carmean, 74, of Loxahatchee, FL, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Alvin Hemmis and Kathryn (Griffith) McCoy. She worked at Animal Medical Clinic for 35 years with Dr. Scott Miller and Dr. Keith Chapin and was a guardian angel of kitties. Mary Kay's memory will be cherished by her children, Kathy (Bobby) Chavis, Karen Carmean and Michael Carmean; brother, Billy (Lori) Hemmis; grandchildren, James (Crystal) Chavis, Paige Carmean, Amanda Carmean and Jesse Carmean; great grandsons, Shawn Chavis and Brandyn Feliciano; niece, Amy (John) Hemmis-Crompton. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Jeannie Carmean. A visitation will be held 6-8, on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Palms West Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 12 PM, on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Palms West Funeral Home with a burial following at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
