He retired in San Diego, California, before moving to Boca Raton. In Boca Raton he made many friends. He was well known for his generosity, quick sense of humor and his willingness to help anyone, anytime. There will be a memorial service, date and time to be announced. He will be buried at the South Florida National Cemetery with military honors.
