Mark M. Smith

SMITH, Mark M. Mark M. Smith, 75, died in West Palm Beach, FL on August 16, 2017 where he and his wife Judy have resided the past 15 years. For 32 years prior, they lived in Rising Sun, MD. He was born in Buffalo, NY on July 13, 1942 to Frank and Helen Smith. Mark graduated from Northland College and The University of Wisconsin, Madison. In 1972 Mark founded Community Services Corporation in Newark, DE with W.L. Gore. The job training and placement for the unemployed agency developed into several private businesses serving the tri-state area. The family operations continue in their 45th year. Mark was an avid and accomplished golfer. He was a member of Newark Country Club in Delaware and Mayacoo Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach. He is survived by his wife Judy, his three children Mark Smith, Jr. (wife Susie), David Smith (wife Winifred), Sarah Jamarowicz, his two granddaughters Carly Jamarowicz and Anna Smith, and his sister Mary Jane Smith. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Tee of the Palm Beaches, 7301 N. Haverhill Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. Viewing will be held 10:30AM to 11:30AM followed by service on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach, FL.
