Mark Wayne Anderson

Mark Wayne Anderson was born on July 19th, 1969 to lovingly devoted parents, Viris and Vivian Lloyd Anderson in Kingston, Jamaica. As a young boy, Mark and his parents moved to Brooklyn, New York and then to the Bronx, where he graduated from Evander High School. As Mark grew older, he realized that music was his first love so he made it his most cherished profession, hence the nickname "DJ Markie Mark." Mark was a loving husband to Sharice Graham Anderson, proud father of Saffiya Anderson, and loving step-father to Natalya Graham. Mark's life was dedicated to family, friends, and music. He will forever be remembered for his joy of life and laughter. --
