Mark Thomas Adolphson, age 60, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, January 29th, 2012 of cancer. He was diagnosed a week and a half before his 60th birthday on November 18th, 2011 with a very aggressive type of liver cancer. Mark was born November 29th, 1951 in Stambaugh, Michigan, and at the age of 9 months old moved to West Palm Beach, Florida with his parents where he eventually started a family and lived out the remainder of his life. In 1968 he graduated from Forest Hill High School at which time he began his career of 37 years with the electrical union (IBEW). The last 27 of which were spent as a loyal employee with Carpenter Electric, Inc. He was an avid fisherman all of his life. Mark always said that when his time was up he wanted to be cremated and have his ashes scattered in the ocean. Mark is survived by his loving wife Barbara, daughter Kimberly (Matthew), son Lonnie (Tania), parents Melvin and Lorrice, brother Daniel (Mary), his 7 beloved grandchildren Cayden, Daultin, Blake, Bryce, Branden, Pamela and John, along with one niece and nephew Allyson and Christopher. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407 or any Cancer Society of your choice would be greatly appreciated. In the place of a memorial service there will be a Celebration of his life held on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 between the hours of 1:00 P.M.- 3:00P.M. The gathering will take place at 4620 Summit Blvd., West Palm Beach, Florida 33415.
