Marion Isabella Cole Howington 94 of Loxahatchee and formerly West Palm Beach, was born November 25, 1926 in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. She passed away peacefully at her home with loving family by her side on April 14, 2021. Marion worked for 30+ years in Palm Beach County Schools as a Cafeteria Manager. If you saw Marion, she was always dressed to the nines with color coordinated matching clothes, necklace, bracelet, lipstick, etc even to just go to the store. She loved to dance at the start of the music. She always had a smile and enjoyed spending time with family. Her enthusiasm and love of life radiated to anyone around her. She was Nana to everyone, even if you weren't related. She was such a bright light in this world and always there for everyone and anyone. She was an active member of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church and a member of the Counsel of Catholic Women (CCW). Marion was a talented Quilt maker. She made all her quilts by hand and would gift them to family. She is survived by 1 daughter, Maribeth Cole Lenz and 4 sons Earl William Cole (Silvia), Michael Cole, Gary Cole (Sandra Bortz), and Jeffrey Cole 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren Sisters Rosemary Hartmann (Bob) and Joann Stollenmaier (Rudy) She is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert K Howington Sr, brother John Condon, daughter-in-law Sandra Tuttle Cole (Jeff), son-in-law Randy Krueger (Maribeth) and stepson Robert Howington Jr. Visitation Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. 3:00-5:30, Masks required, limit 50. Church mass, June 10, 2021 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1991 Overlook Dr, Winter Haven, FL 33884. 9:00 AM. Inurnment in the columbarium will take place immediately after mass and will be for family members only.
