Marilyn I Hogan

Marilyn I. Hogan of Wellington, FL passed away on May 16, 2012 at the age of 78. Marilyn was born in Chicago, IL. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Kathleen Smith. Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, Fr. William Smith, O.Carm. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard J. Hogan, Sr., daughter Debbie Whitlock (Ronald) of Lake Worth, FL, son Robert J. Hogan (Mary Beth) of Oak Lawn, IL, daughter Diane Hogan of Lake Worth, FL, son Thomas J. Hogan of Wellington, FL, son Richard J. Hogan, Jr. (Cindy) of Boynton Beach, FL, grandchildren Sean Hogan, Rebecca Adams (Kevin), Jennifer Whitlock, Kelly Hogan, Thomas J. Hogan, Jr. Christina Williams, Patrick Hogan and great-grandson Landon Adams. She is survived by her brother, Robert Smith (Noreen) of Orland Park, IL. A visitation will be at Palms West Funeral Home on Sunday, May 20 from 7pm to 9pm. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be at St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church Monday, May 21 at 9:45 am. The funeral will be at South Florida National Cemetery (Veteran's Cemetery) at 11:15 with reception to follow at the church. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider making donations in her memory to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital in Memphis TN.
